Very nice start. The mechanics and managment is simple but fun, very excited to see an update in the future. When i tried to quit it got stuck in a black screen though.
Its THE game for me, I searched for something to play and found this one and it was so exciting to start playing after I saw some YouTube videos about the game and I was so so sad to find out that all of this is just a demo. This game worth a lot.
But...has to be but cause its a demo, needs to be notification system, I mean like the posting board when a tribal post back or complain I want to see it for example placing big " ! " on the board or above it.
I played the demo and totally look forward to the full release. I love the concept, art and controls. It's so artsy and cute. The only thing I could suggest is maybe being able to choose our mask's animal shape. Anyway, great work on this game.

- You should change your Itch.io to a more forum based format, comments boxes like these are usually only good for Game Jams and stuff, forums are so much cleaner and allows for easier suggestions and topics.

A quest list, while I do like remembering the information, I think a quest list would help when I am and doing something and I forget a Villager needs an item ( Turns out the Board has it, pointing it out would be nice, though I am an idiot )
Being able to give an item in my inventory directly. For example: I have a clover in my inventory 2, I talk to Jamu and I have inventory 1 selected, the game can't tell I am trying to give him the item, so I would have select inventory 2 and talk to him which then the game knows I am trying to give him an item. Just making it so when its in my inventory and I can give it to him no matter the slot would be a nice Quality of Life feature, sorry if this sounds weird to understand.
A villagers list with their feelings towards me and other villagers and if they are tired or not. ( Just to know if I can give them a break yet )

A couple of bugs I've personally encountered: - Sometimes upon booting up, the posts on the bullatin board have no visible text, particularly when posting gossip about the other villagers. The list shows no names but they can still be selected. - Villagers with full inventories become "Stuck" if there's nowhere to deposit their supplies.They accept gifts of food but don't eat them and complain they're hungry, while refusing to move or do anything.
That aside, I completely adore this game so far! I love the concept and I'd love to see where it goes. The AI's are charming (though I feel like them being able to force you out of build mode to talk to you shouldn't be allowed/they should be made to wait) and the art style is adorable!
A little polish and some variety to the hunting mechanic/maybe the threats/sights the villagers mentioning being realized and I think this game can really be something!
We've gotten a couple requests for a save system, so we'll definitely get that in when we can! As for demolishing, we haven't decided yet if we'll have the resources returned or respawned.
First person mode would definitely be interesting! We're also hoping to add some more settings and customization in the future. Thanks a lot for playing :)
This game looks really good, especially the npc interactions, though I am wondering if there is a goal in this game besides survival? Maybe their could be a combat mechanic where you delve into dungeons and certain tribe members are better at combat than others. Just a suggestion because even if a game is of the survival genre there has to be goals to keep the game interesting.

I cant play it... in order to shoot the bow you need to press both mouse buttons.. im on a laptop! doesn't work.. so sad! was really looking forward to playing this game! it looks so cute!!!

So I was at the very beginning of the game and everytime I accidentally click on Jamu(not sure if that's right?) I get stuck. I can pause and rotate camera but that's it. I can't move or do anything else. So I have to continue to restart the game which results in me starting all over again. Please help ;-;

Hello Cajji, my name is Lauro (Nick name Atomic Death) i'm from Brazil and i have played this game for only 3 minutes to know that have a lot of potential, the game is awesome and i'm sure that i will spend a lot of time in it, I've been thinking too about this game have others languages in the future and if you need (or like the idea) maybe i can help you with the translate of the game to English to Brazilian Portuguese.
At the moment it's undecided how far we'd like go to with the game. We'd love to make a full release, but it may be a while before we decide as a team if we'd like to implement all the features we had planned.
A good start, I really like that you can upgrade buildings and I hope there will be relationship improvements as you talk and do missions for other villagers. :)
I am very excited about future updates for this game. The writing for the characters is fun and fresh, they have very distinct personalities. Keep it up!
Really had fun with this game! I installed it fairly recently, but it may not have been the latest update, so there may be things I commented on that have been tweaked since I played. Either way, I love the artwork and the overall vibes of the game!
I do hope there will be more buildings or ways to interact with them if you can implement it, like being able to customize tents the same way you can customize masks, or the villagers being able to physically sit at the eatery like they can on the benches and have food on the table. Also would love to see more inventory slots and animal varieties, like chickens.
Regardless, great job on the demo and good luck with the full game!
Lil Tribals was EPIC! My video was a tad on the quieter side but this game was amazing. It has amazing art that sets it apart from other games. It controls nicely, It took me a bit to get comfortable with the all of the controls but once I did it was smooth sailing. I love what you guys have done and cant wait to see more!
I really love this game and can't wait for the full version but I was wondering if there was a way to erase mistakes when painting your mask without having to start over all together?

Hello I have a bug! When a villager was hungry I tried to give them food but they keep saying; "No thank you". Then they keep continuing saying "I'm hungry.."! I think this is a bug.. If so, please fix it.
Also I have a question! When a bug is fixed or when a update occurs, do I have reinstall the game? Also can you add an option to change your gender/mask?
Unfortunately you'll have to download the game every time we update the game. I'll be looking into ways around this in the future though!
At the moment we like to consider all the characters to be genderless, but we may add more character customization options to allow for more self-expression and gender identity :)
Kind of dissapointed tbh. As soon as I finish the tutorial, Jamu immediately starts ragging on me and it doesn't change, even when I upgrade everything and have tons of food stocked. I even try giving gifts and talking with the villagers, yet they get pissy right away. Am I doing something wrong? Them yelling at me every couple of seconds and having them throw stuff around is troubling.

My only suggestion is that I wish there was a way to set all the little villagers to one task if you want them all to build or take a break, etc.
